Meet the Team

NLP in the Northwest is run by Chris & Glenda Grimsley, experienced trainers with professional backgrounds in public and voluntary sectors. Partners in life as well as in training they have a reputation for delivering practical, accessible and effective training in plain English with humour, warmth and integrity. Courses run in the heart of Lancashire.

NLP training allows participants to take control of and improve their own lives. It also helps them understand others better. Course attendees come from various backgrounds, with some attending primarily for personal development. Others work in people focused sectors like health, education, social care, HR, or coaching / counselling and wish to use NLP to enhance their effectiveness. They can share what they learn, easing distress & helping people to develop and change, thus creating positive ripples across society.

Certified to Master Practitioner level and beyond, Chris, Glenda and team have introduced over three thousand people to NLP. As well as open courses, they have delivered in-house NLP courses to people from a range of service backgrounds including: mental heath workers; counsellors; child & family support staff; teachers; probation and youth offending team workers; speech and language therapists; midwives, nurses and doctors; college lecturers; community workers; public service managers and many more. Chris is particularly interested in the contribution NLP can make to the delivery and management of public services. Glenda is keen to share NLP in ways that can address social issues, most recently developing ‘Hard To Reach Families’ training. Together they bring over 50 years experience of training to NLP in the Northwest and a passion to share the benefits of NLP to make the world a brighter, better and happier place.
